Chesmar Homes Commits to Building the Next Generation of ENERGY STAR Qualified Homes

Chesmar Homes Houston has once again been recognized with the "Leadership in Housing" award for 2013 by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The award is for the company's work in the previous year for promoting energy efficient construction and helping to protect the environment through its partnership with ENERGY STAR.
Chesmar is known for its commitment to provide energy efficient homes and building each home to meet or exceed the ENERGY STAR 3.0 designation. The Houston division has received this award for the past seven years building and closing more than 2,300 homes since opening its doors in 2005. Chesmar Homes' provided homebuyers with 376 ENERGY STAR homes in the Houston area in 2012.
